Any information you provide; whether through donations, event registration, or communication with us; is used solely for the purpose of furthering our mission and keeping you informed about our work.

Your generosity is personal, and we are committed to protecting it with the same care and integrity with which we serve our community.

 

We collect and store information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons such as donating to our cause, providing feedback, and using a contact form. We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the purposes:

  • To operate the Services of providing scholarships and mentorship to Dougherty County high school seniors.

  • To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with upcoming opportunities to volunteer and upcoming fundraisers, which will be done through email.

  • To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to accept donations and collect your name and email address. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our foundation and its service providers.

 

We do use Cookies on our site to provide a great experience for our visitors; to monitor and analyze the performance, operation and effectiveness of Wix Platform; and to ensure our platform is secure and safe to use. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser. They are typically used to keep track of the settings users have selected and actions they have taken on a site.
